Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between this and the standard 6x12 diffuser?
The Slim Design has a shallower 1-1/4" neck depth — it fits ducts too shallow for our standard-depth diffusers, without changing face size or airflow.
What size do I order — 6x12 or face size?
Order by duct opening size (6" × 12"). The face size (13-3/4" × 7-13/16") overlaps the opening.
Is this for supply air or return air?
Supply air, with adjustable airflow. For return air in this size, see our 6x12 return air grille.
Can I install this on a ceiling?
Yes — mounts on walls or ceilings.
Is a black finish available?
This Slim Design size is currently White only. See the standard-depth 6x12 Black Linear Slot Diffuser instead.
